About Cameron D. Poage, MD

  • A native Texan, Dr. Poage enjoys exploring new areas of Austin and the surrounding area with his wife, outdoor activities, and attending church. He also likes visiting several of the parks around Austin, including the park in Georgetown and Georgetown Square.

I enjoy internal medicine because it allows me to keep up on all aspects of a patient’s care and to maintain a broad knowledge of medicine, including keeping up to date on the most recent evidence-based medicine being practiced. I strive to treat patients as I would like to be treated. I enjoy working with patients and including them in their care plan.

From the greeting and help at the front desk to nurse to Dr. Poage to the lab staff, my visit was great! It was my first time there and I was hoping to find a new PCP - I believe I accomplished that! So thanks!

He listened the evaluates after checking physically. Pleasant and helpful.

Dr Poage seems to be dedicated to his patients well being with no nonsense medicine. He listens and understands the needs of his patients as well. He helped me with a referral to a specialist 2 years ago which changed the mobility in my right arm and life for the better. I actually switched from my original primary Physician to Dr. Poage for the mentioned reasons above. His nurse’s the same mentality, passion for patients. Wish I would have found that team earlier!
